Gracious Hotel Amenities A complimentary full, hot, Southern-style breakfast buffet is served in our Pavilion each morning. Enjoy a hot breakfast with homemade biscuits, sausage and gravy, eggs, and stone ground local grits--or opt for the lighter fare of housemade breads, pastries, assorted fruits, cereal and yogurt. During nice weather, dine outdoors in the adjacent Cloister Garden. Our Magi Bed is designed for a great night’s sleep. Since we couldn’t find bedding that was just right, we decided to design our own. We started by tweaking an already supremely comfortable mattress. Then we added four plush, down-like sleeping pillows. We wrapped it all up with sumptuous, Egyptian combed-cotton, Italian-woven sheets and pillowcases and topped it off with a hypoallergenic, fiberfill blanket (our blankets and pillows are made in a family run pillow “factory” to our specifications) and a copper-colored damask coverlet. Our guestroom baths are divided into separate bath and dressing rooms, the design of which is so unique that it is actually patented. Each bathroom is equipped with a glass-enclosed, Terrazzo shower; extra large soaking tub, separate from the shower; and a 36-inch high granite vanity with porcelain sink. The dressing room is a completely separate, private room with a 32-inch high granite vanity with makeup stool; a built-in luggage rack and six open-front drawers; a closet; and a safe for storing valuables. There are mirrors galore in the bath and dressing room including two full-length mirrors. The Outdoor Pool, surrounded by lush landscaping and comfortable seating, is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Towels are provided. Wireless high speed Internet is available in each guestroom, our meeting rooms, and in our Business Center. Our Business Center includes a computer, Microsoft Office programs, and a laser printer. Complimentary airport transportation is provided for all guests to the Greensboro Airport and to our sister restaurants and hotel from 6:00a.m. – 11:00p.m. daily. We'll also provide transportation to various locations throughout the city for a fee. Our livery vehicles include a comfortable van that seats eleven and a Suburban that seats ten. Cleanliness & sanitation: Our heating, air conditioning and ventilation system is state of the art. We use an energy exchange system that is designed to bring 50 cubic feet per minute of tempered outside air into each guestroom. The comfort advantage of bringing this outside air into each room is significant. Most hotels only bring in the stale air from the hallways. We’ve eliminated the biggest sanitation concerns that most people have in hotels. We don’t have the suspect shower curtain or the suspect bedspread. Instead, our glass-enclosed shower and separate tub offer superior sanitation. Our beds are topped with a blanket cover that is laundered daily. Our rooms are expertly cleaned and are sanitary. The Exercise Studio is open 24-hours a day. Towels and water are provided and the facility is equiped with state of the art Precor equipment. It includes an upright bicycle, recumbent bicycle, three treadmills, three elliptical machines, free weights with adjustable bench and floor exercise equipment. All cardio machines are equipped with personal viewing screens and headsets. The room has floor to ceiling mirrors and windows overlooking the outdoor pool terrace. And more Amenities!
